Falcon Rundown 1.3.14 Changelog
This release introduces BREAK rows for intermediate rundown timing and expands the timing, numbering and print tools used during live productions.
BREAK rows
- Add a BREAK from the New Line menu or from the bottom of the story list.
- Give each BREAK a manual duration and an optional Hit Time for fixed intermediate targets such as commercial breaks.
- Run BREAKs on air like other rundown rows, with live Spent and Left timing.
- See Manual, Last Block, Elapsed and To Break information in a compact panel that follows the visible edge of the story list.
- A Countdown to Next Break appears in the footer whenever the rundown contains a future BREAK.
- PDF exports place BREAK data in the same columns as the online rundown and show Hit Time plus a colour-coded Over/Under variance.
Story numbering
- New rundowns now default to Block + Number, using labels such as A1, A2, B0 and B1. BREAK rows start the next block at B0, C0 and so on.
- Rundown Settings can switch numbering to Number only when a continuous 1, 2, 3 sequence is preferred.
- Renumbering remains a deliberate action. Newly added rows stay unnumbered until Renumber is selected.
Story editor
- The story toolbar now shows the calculated Voice Over duration for the current manuscript.
API and workflow reliability
- BREAK type, duration and Hit Time are preserved through Rundown APIs, duplication, deletion recovery and downstream integration data.
- Story navigation skips BREAK rows, while on-air navigation includes them in the running order.
