Prompter displays presenter text from the active rundown and can follow On Air items, scroll automatically, mirror output, and adjust readability for different screens.

Recommended workflow

Open Prompter from the dashboard.
Confirm the correct rundown is On Air in Director.
Use Go to On Air Element to jump to the current item.
Adjust font sizes and padding in Settings.
Enable mirror mode if the display hardware requires it.
Use autoscroll and speed slider when the operator is not manually scrolling.

Best practices

Test mirror mode with the actual prompter hardware.
Keep prompter text in the rundown item, not in separate notes.
Use sync settings when multiple prompter screens should follow together.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Likely cause	What to check
Prompter shows wrong item	Wrong rundown is On Air or scroll position is stale.	Use Go to On Air Element.
Text is too small/large	Display settings need adjustment.	Open Settings and change font sizes.
