Introduction to Rundowns
A Rundown is a package of stories. Some other call stories for lines, because a story can consist of more lines.
Sidebar
Rundowns can be created and managed in the sidebar to the left. You can also create folders to organize your work.
The Rundown View
When a rundown has been selected, it opens the Rundown coloumn, where you can see all the stories/lines in it.
- The green and red buttons in the top are toggle-buttons, that toggles the apperance of different story-elements like Times, Tags, Notes and Comments.
- The OnAirScroll-toggle gives the system the opponunity to automatically scroll to the story, that is onAir.
- The + New Line button makes a new story/line just below the chosen element.
- Renumber renumbers the whole rundown - if you have 50+ stories this can take a few moments.
- Cuecard opens the Cuecard module.
- Prompter opens the Prompter module.
- Print opens a new window with various print options.
- The Start button sets the rundown OnAir and a new timing view appears below of the active story.
- The clock 20:00:00 is the starttime of the show, which it uses to calculate the rest of the storyclocks in the show.
Each story/line has shows the stories number followed by the clock of the element, title, manual time, Voice Over (text) time and the total time.
To the right we have the Comment button and a color-button, that gives that story a specific color.
The very last button is the delete button.
In the bottom you have the end time 20:20:00, and below that the over/under time.
The 00:19:41 is the total time of the show.
The Story Editor
The Story Editor gives you a wide range of tools to describe your show.
The topbar shows the Number and the title - and a Comment-button. In the end we have the history-module, that gives you all the versions of the story.
