Asset Package Module

The Asset Package Modal is a module that lets you select and configure assets from an attached Asset Package. Assets can be graphics templates, video clips, camera inputs, or functions that you can insert into your stories.

How to Open the Asset Package Modal

The Asset Package Modal opens automatically when you:

  • Click a tag in a story (for example GFX, VID, CAM)

  • Click an icon in a production note (function note)

The modal title shows which asset type you are selecting.

Tips and Tricks

Keyboard Behavior

  • The search field automatically receives focus when the modal opens

  • Scroll position is preserved when switching between searches

  • Only the first 20 results are shown initially

  • Click Load 20 more to display more

  • This prevents loading too many thumbnails at once

Image Variable Tips

  • Upload only JPG, PNG, or GIF files

  • Images are uploaded to MediaProxy

  • Existing files can be reused from the dropdown

Graphics Template Tips

  • Templates update automatically while you type

  • Use Play, Next, and Stop to test animations

  • The iframe loads the template at double resolution and scales it to 50 percent
