FALCON OPERATIONS
Tasks
Tasks turns production work into an ordered board that the team can assign, discuss and move through its workflow.
Understand the board
A new workflow commonly includes Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Review and Done. Authorized users can customize the columns for the production's real process.
Create and assign a task
- Select Add task in the relevant column.
- Enter a short action-oriented title and a clear description.
- Set priority, due date, assignee and tags.
- Add attachments needed to complete the work.
- Save, then move the card as its real status changes.
Run the workflow
- Drag cards between columns to change status.
- Reorder cards to make the working sequence visible.
- Use search and tag filters during stand-ups or focused reviews.
- Add comments for decisions, questions and handover context.
- Keep the assignee and due date current; dashboard urgency depends on reliable task data.
Task fields
| Field | Recommended use |
|---|---|
| Priority | Reserve high urgency for work that genuinely needs escalation. |
| Due date | The date the deliverable or decision is needed. |
| Assignee | The production member responsible for driving completion. |
| Tags | Department, workstream, deliverable type or another shared category. |
| Comments | A chronological discussion and decision trail tied to the task. |
Read-only accessUsers with read-only Tasks permission can inspect the board but cannot create cards, move status, comment or change attachments.
