Settings Overview

Settings is where Falcon Play is configured. It controls global options, Device Config Profiles, connected devices, servers, prompter behavior, license, LTC, and Config Sync.

Recommended workflow

Open Settings from the dashboard or Director.
Choose the relevant global tab.
Edit values in the active Device Config Profile or global settings.
Click Save after changes.
Reload dependent pages or services when a setting requires it.

Buttons, fields, and controls

Config Sync	Local and cloud config transfer.	Use for backup and multi-machine synchronization.

Best practices

Avoid major Device Config changes during live operation.
Create separate profiles for separate physical setups.
Use Config Sync before risky changes so you can recover.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Likely cause	What to check
Changes do not appear	Settings were not saved or page needs reload.	Click Save and reload the affected app.
Wrong devices are controlled	Wrong Device Config Profile is active.	Select the intended profile.
License features missing	License not active or refresh failed.	Open License tab and refresh status.
