Settings Overview

Settings is where Falcon Play is configured. It controls global options, Device Config Profiles, connected devices, servers, prompter behavior, license, LTC, and Config Sync.

What you will learn

  • How global tabs are organized.
  • What the save button does.
  • Which settings are safe to change during production.
  1. Open Settings from the dashboard or Director.
  2. Choose the relevant global tab.
  3. Edit values in the active Device Config Profile or global settings.
  4. Click Save after changes.
  5. Reload dependent pages or services when a setting requires it.

  • Avoid major Device Config changes during live operation.
  • Create separate profiles for separate physical setups.
  • Use Config Sync before risky changes so you can recover.
