Graphic Elements and Scenes

Graphics in Falcon Play are either templates from the Media Server or saved scenes created from those templates. Scenes store the filled-in variables, selected pictures, timing, layer, functions, and playback behavior.

What you will learn

  • The difference between templates and scenes.
  • How to create and edit scenes.
  • How graphic channels, layers, timers, and TC triggers work.
  1. Open the Graphics tab.
  2. Search or filter templates and scenes.
  3. Create a scene from a template when a reusable filled graphic is needed.
  4. Fill text, dropdown, and picture variables.
  5. Set channel, layer, AutoTake, out behavior, timers, functions, and shortcuts.
  6. Preview before playing to air when possible.

Best practices

  • Use consistent layer naming in Settings so operators know what each layer is for.
  • Preview new templates before they are used in a live rundown.
  • Use out behavior and timed out duration to avoid graphics blocking the next item.

Troubleshooting
