Falcon Rundown 0.9.1 Changelog

Falcon Rundown 0.9.1 introduces significantly improved loading speed thanks to our new server setup.

Projects, rundowns, and shared workspaces now load noticeably faster, giving users a smoother experience when opening and working inside Falcon Rundown.

This version also introduces a new built-in chat system, making it easier for project members to communicate directly inside a project.

New Features

Built-in Project Chat

A new chat module has been added directly to Falcon Rundown.

Project members can now communicate without leaving the project they are working on. The chat is designed to feel familiar and fits visually with the existing comment system.

New chat features include:

  • A new chat button in the bottom-right corner of the interface
  • A chat overview showing project members and existing conversations
  • Direct chats between project members
  • Group chats with multiple participants
  • Renameable group chats
  • The ability to add or remove members from group chats
  • The option to leave a group chat

Access Improvements

Chat is available to all project members, regardless of their editing permissions.

This means that read-only users can now participate in project conversations, even if they do not have permission to edit the rundown or comment on stories.

Unread Messages

Unread messages are easy to spot across the system.

Unread message counters are shown:

  • On the main chat button
  • On individual chats in the chat overview
  • On project cards in the Projects view

Version 0.9.1 is mainly focused on improving collaboration inside Falcon Rundown and making project communication faster, clearer, and more integrated.
