Sound Mixer settings define connected audio mixers and fader inputs that Falcon Audio Mixer and playlist audio automation use for PGM, VO, mute, fade, and AUTO behavior.

Recommended workflow
- Open Settings > Device Config > Sound Mixer.
- Add or edit a sound mixer.
- Add fader inputs for every source that should be controlled.
- Choose mixer, description, type, faderinput, setDb, fade time, and delay.
- Save settings and open Falcon Audio Mixer to test control.
Buttons, fields, and controls

| Fade time (ms) | Time used for fader transitions. | Use for smooth audio changes. |
| Delay (ms) | Wait time before applying change. | Use to align audio with video/automation. |
| Delete Fader Input | Removes fader mapping. | Use when source no longer exists. |
Best practices
- Use meaningful fader descriptions; they appear in operator surfaces.
- Test every fader after changing mixer driver or source key.
- Use delays sparingly and document why they exist.
Troubleshooting
