Config Sync

Config Sync manages local configuration files and cloud synchronization. It supports downloading, uploading, resetting, pushing to cloud, and fetching configurations from other machines.

What you will learn

  1. Open Settings > Config Sync.
  2. Review local config files.
  3. Download individual files or all configs before risky changes.
  4. Use Upload to restore a known config file.
  5. Use Push to Cloud to publish the local version.
  6. Use Fetch from Cloud carefully because it overwrites local files.

Best practices

  • Download all configs before fetching or resetting.
  • Avoid fetching configs during live production.
  • Confirm station/machine identity before pushing cloud configs.
